This really comes in handy during the holidays, but other times as well. You can find out who's offering free shipping, what kind of discounts, etc. and sales.  There's also http://stylenotes.com/ that's more geared to women.  Before facing the crowds at the mall on the Friday after Thanksgiving, check out what's available online!

Okay, this is so unlike me. I'm not a geek but I know a couple ;) and I find this site interesting, informative, and the sense of community they exhibit is inspiring. So if you're intereseted in open source software, you might want to check it out. You can also check out http://drupal.org to find out what Drupal is, it's features, history, etc.
