Four Famous Paintings Stolen

‹ Hello again | Main | Our long pony tails... ›

I read in the news today that four important paintings were stolen from a museum in Zurich. Paintings by Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, and Cezanne supposedly worth $163 million. My question is this: why? Are they planning on selling them to someone?  Who? I mean it's not like they're obscure paintings people wouldn't recognize. And I would think anyone actually willing to put up that kind of money to buy them would know about the paintings, or at least do their research before putting up the money. Strange.
